Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans and assisting with various imaging procedures.
- 20 week contract
- Mon-Fri; Days 6:00am - 2:30pm, 40 hrs/weekly
Requirements:
- ARRT (R)(RT),(CT) Certification
- BLS (AHA)
- Washington License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- 2 years CURRENT acute care hospital experience
- High proficiency in C-Arm, Fluoroscopy, PACS and IV Placement
Equipment in department:
- Toshiba Scanner experience
- Epic
- Conduct CT scans using specialized equipment to produce cross-sectional images of internal organs and tissues on Pediatric to Geriatric patients
- Prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results and provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain patient records, documenting procedures, findings, and patient information accurately.
- Performs CT diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, in accordance and within the scope of practice and departmental standards.
- Assesses pertinent information; prepares and educates patient for procedures and expectations.
- Completes documentation of patient care and procedure.
- Utilizes the hospital and departmental information, technology systems and equipment operations.
- Maintains a level of productivity, adaptability, flexibility and timeliness in managing workload and processes required to meet patient care and department needs.
